Women In Touch
All women and young women involved with the church are invited to attend the monthly Women In Touch meeting.
In the past we have participated in community service projects such as assembling packages for our servicemen and women overseas, learned new creative skills in craft workshops, held semi-annual bake sales and jumble sales, and enjoyed fellowship and devotions together. The group offers the opportunity to deepen the bonds of friendship between women of all ages, while performing useful activities for the church community.
Active WIT meetings are currently suspended due to the ill health of several key group members, but the group is still responsible for the planning and organisation of our monthly fellowship dinner (held after service on the third sunday of the month, and generally themed to suit the time of year) and for planning/organising/catering various special events in the church. There's still plenty of work to do!
