Leon Roberts - Pastor
Leon Roberts is a native Floridian who was raised in High Springs, Bell, and Crawfordville, Florida. Leon is a veteran of the US Army serving three years active and three years in the reserves. After the military Leon attended Miami-Dade Community College where he received his AS in Mortuary Science. Leon attended Trinity International University where he received his BS in Bible and a BS in Human Resource Management. He completed his Master of Arts in Religion at Liberty Baptist Theological Seminary in 2008 and is presently completing work on his Master of Divinity program at Liberty in Pastoral Counseling and should graduate in May 2010. Leon plans to continue on to get his doctorate at Knox Theological Seminary in Fort Lauderdale in July 2010.Leon has been married to his wife Joan for almost 17 years. Leon has served churches in Tennessee and Florida as an interim pastor and has served as a senior pastor and associate pastor. Leon has a love for people and a heart for counseling, ministry, and evangelism. Leon is also a certified trainer for Evangelism Explosion. In addition he plays the piano, organ, keyboards, bass guitar, and sings. Leon has done mission work in Germany and Austria. Leon's nearly 30 years in the funeral industry has given him a wealth of experience to counsel in the area of loss which compliments his training at Liberty.
